Merry Christmas from the Six Pack!
Christmas fell on a Monday this year. After the previous night's Christmas Eve service at the church and celebrating with my folks, the kids got to bed pretty late. But that didn't stop them from being ready for that morning! We always "wake" the kids so we can see their excitement. Wakey wakey Noah!
Evie came down just before the littles.
Okay those two were little a little sleepy.
Stockings!
Opening their new Pokemon cards.
I made two coffee cakes this year, one normal and one gluten free for the littles. I love this breakfast so much.
Evie had the honor of placing the final ornament on the magnetic advent tree.
Her expressions crack me up.
Reading the Christmas story from Luke 2.
And time to dig in!
Thank you Jana!!!
The kids were happy about the new Six Pack photo book, as I said in the Christmas Eve post was my ninth annual.
Due to all of our sabbatical trips and the extra hikes we have taken since our kids are finally old enough, this year's book was huge. It took me days and was very tiring. All worth it though!
Evie constructed and painted this shelf, which Terry put on his desk. The clay bowl, which Evie made at co-op, is for my jewelry.
The littles showing off their new light-up watches, which they like to display nightly for their light ceremonies. Samuel's is Lightning Macqueen and Ezra's is Batman.
Matching big boys.
The Shopkins house Evie was desperate for. Nice reaction from her.
PORG! {From The Last Jedi}
Terry's new Spurgeon Bible.
Me and the kids wrote in it for him.
Ezra just loves Monster Trucks. He and Terry have been having nearly daily monster truck battles. Ezra always wins and beats up Terry's hands.
A new remote control car.
Samuel and Ezra were very excited to rip into their big combined gift.
A train tower.
Noah only got a few things due to this big gift. It's always the Star Wars Legos he wants for Christmas.
Noah made this B for us with Moses' scroll saw for Adventure Day last month. He did so great!
Evie opening her other much desired gift, perhaps the most desired, a Calico Critters house.
Mommy got her dream gift too thanks to daddy's savvy Ebay auctioneering. He got such a great deal, and saved hundreds.
A new camera!!
So exciting! Ha ha ha.
YES
The Porg reading my new illustrated Harry Potter book. :D
Evie put both her houses together mostly all by herself this year. I don't understand the draw of Shopkins but she and her cousin love them.
Such a fun car track. The boys loved when the cars ran into each other and then drove away wildly off the track.
Samuel was dying of laughter when Luna would chase his car through the wrapping paper pile.
She is crazy fast.
Getting ready for the family photo. ;)
Nailed it.
