a baptism and Cinderella

One of the reasons we came back from Red Lodge when we did was to go to Jack's baptism and for Evie to go to Cinderella with Shari and Grace... Plus we were really ready to come home. It had been kind of a difficult trip with the hot water pipe trouble, daily rain, traffic in Yellowstone, and the Beartooth Highway being closed.

So on Saturday we dropped Evie off at Shari's and drove on to Paul and Jana's. Terry was one of the men who prayed for Jack.

Under he goes! It was a pretty special occasion.

From there we went back to the house to eat and then dispersed into the field or creek to play. Samuel and Ezra preferred the tire swing and tree house.

Cutie.

Noah borrowed some clothes and played in the creek with Jack, Noah and Gage P.

Paula and I sat by the creek and enjoyed the view. It's simply perfect out there. Practically paradise.

I heard a rustle behind me and spotted a very small fawn next to the tree about ten feet directly behind us!

After all the kids had a taken a look, I took a step closer. That fawn was practically a newborn. It can't have been more than a few days old. It was so precious.

This was Jack's new dog Jill, a blue heeler. Jack and Jill are always together.

Noah loved her.

One last look at the Studebaker truck Paul bought from Jerry a few years back.

Meanwhile Evie was having a rocky ride in Cinderella's carriage. Her expression cracks me up so much.

Evie and Grace.

They had a fantastic time. They sat front and center and could see into the pit orchestra. Shari said the play was very believable.

They stayed up very late for the play and were so tired the following day. The girls took the pillows off the couch and both fell asleep underneath them. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜†
