leftover snow sledding

Two days after we received so much snow in one of our last "winter" storms, another school week started and the snow was halfway gone. Monday, March 19, the kids had piano lessons and poop scooping to get done. Instead of going home with the littles for forty five minutes like I usually do, we walked over to the dammed up hill at Canyon Lake to sled.

This was at Erika's after we got done scooping

What's a mom to do while her kids play? Admire trees and take their picture...

I love big trees!

There go the boys down the hill! It was funny how they could still sled despite the bare patches.

For some reason Samuel got tired of sledding and started rolling down the hill with his sled. 🙎

Both rolling. Such sillies.

It was cold up on top of the hill so I just had to keep admiring pretty stuff.

Rolling. Rolling. Rolling like a goofball.

Occasional sledding still transpired.

Cute littles.

Weeee!

Bored, I wandered over to that little pond area and the boys followed me. Samuel is "fishing" with a stick like they did in Montana.

From the other side.

Ezra fishing also. They were both naughty and kept getting their mittens wet and then wondered why their hands were cold. No more winter fishing for them.

Oops, except one last photo I guess. 😛

We went to the other side of the shelter to play, Luna tried to eat three dead fish, Samuel did a couple runs of sledding, and we walked back to the van to pick up the olders from piano.

I was there too. 😜
