And it just so happened that last weekend we went on a car trip and Evie was 20 pounds (according to our scale anyway) so we could upgrade her seat...and turn her around.

Fun...we just turned Ella around this past week (she turned 1 on Friday!). Ella actually hated being forward facing at first, we almost turned her back around, but after a couple days she got used to it. I definitely like it better. How did you wean her from nursing? I'm starting the process, but it breaks my heart to not nurse her when I know that's what she wants.
